What it’s like to be a Civil Engineer

Performs general engineering work involved in the design, review and inspections of capital and development engineering and construction projects including water mains, reservoirs, booster pump stations and well houses. They manage multiple projects related to the production, distribution and storage of potable water. They coordinate major road construction projects between the Utility and the County. They also perform specialized engineering work in a key operational area such as hydraulic analysis, construction management, standards and specifications, water treatment, controls, etc.  They assist in the training, daily supervision and management of Civil Engineers to ensure the coordinated and efficient flow of work.

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
