Instructions

Substations are located all over Clark County. It is possible you have one in your neighborhood or by your school. Substations change electricity. Sometimes they make it into a higher voltage and other times, they turn the voltage into something safe for the buildings receiving power around the substation. Clark Public Utilities names some of our substations after geographical areas of Clark County. Other substations are named after Commissioners, General Managers and employees. Do you know the name of the substation near you? Remember: if anything goes over the fence and into a substation, call Clark Public Utilities and we will get it for you – for free! Never enter a substation. Find the words hidden in the grid below. Words can be vertical, horizontal, diagonal and backwards.
