What it’s like to be a Field Services / AMR Driver
Automated Meter Reading (AMR) drivers collect readings for electric, water, and commercial meters in Clark County using the mobile collection reading system (MC3). On occasion, they are required to do manual meter reads as needed. A part of this includes looking into readings that seem out of the ordinary and/or completing other work orders requested by the Customer Service, Billing, Field Services, and any other department needing information. AMR Drivers also make sure meters are accessible for reading byt trimming bushes, brush and other debris away from meters.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
