What it’s like to be an Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineers make sure that the right amount of electricity can be delivered to homes and businesses in Clark County safely. They work on plans and designs involving transmission and distribution of electricity and analyze load flow and voltage. They study interconnection, analyze and recommend capital improvement projects. They help coordinate capital planning functions, work to balance load vs. usage, and assist system protection functions.
Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science in Electrical (with emphasis in power systems)
