What it’s like to be a Heavy Equipment Operator
Heavy Equipment Operators are expected to operate trucks, diggers with derricks, back-hoes, trenchers, power equipment, equipment for pole loading and unloading, setting, removal and transportation on trailers.
Education: High school diploma or GED, obtain training, earn certifications, obtain a commercial drivers license and accrue on the job experience.
