Have you found the books Clark gave to elementary school libraries? This year’s book is Drop: An Adventure through the Water Cycle

Scavenger Hunt

Utilities Are Everywhere

< Back to All Games & Activities

Utilities are everywhere but we have grown so accustomed to having them around we no longer notice their presence. Here is a fun game to play while taking a walk, or (as long as you’re not the driver) riding in the car. Check the boxes off as you find the items in the wild.

Consider this:

  • Why can birds and squirrels sit on power lines and not get hurt?
  • Why are trees in power lines not a good combination?
  • Are power lines always over our head in the air?
  • What should we do before we dig in the ground?

Ready to get started with this activity? Keep track of your progress by checking off the boxes for each step item you find. Make sure to check the box of the last step when you’re done to receive congratulations for your completed activity!
