What it’s like to be a Marketing Communications Specialist
The marketing communications specialist works on digital and multi-media production, including updating websites using various platforms, developing multi-media content such as videos and social media posts. They collaborate with other departments and vendors to complete projects while adhering to the company brand.
They work to format, edit and distribute employee and customer newsletters in both print and digital formats, contribute to the annual report, industry publications and media materials. They also develop social media and website content in line with established department initiatives and in the tone and style of the utility brand. Manages the approval process for materials developed.
They assist with internal and customer survey design and provide support to various utility programs, including community engagement and student education. They help coordinate internal meeting and event preparation. And work to support utility and department goals.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
